Villa Toledo owes its name to the first house constructed in Costa Teguise, by the Toledo family, in the year 1969, owner of the old saltworks, known today as "Urbanización Playa Bastián". Today turned into what is probably the best sited restaurant of the island, it continues to use the name of the old house, by express wish of its current owners.
